This policy describes how Zalewska Home (“we”) handles information when you visit zalewskahome.com.
Information we collect
- Analytics: we use standard analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, referral source, device type). This data is not used to identify you personally.
- Comments and messages: if you comment or write to us, we keep the information you provide (name, email, message) to respond to you.
- Cookies: this site uses cookies for basic functionality, analytics and, in the future, advertising partners. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Email list and free guides
If you sign up to receive a free guide (such as a printable checklist) or our newsletter, here is exactly what happens:
- What we collect: your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it. We also record the date you signed up and which form you used.
- What we send: the guide you asked for, and then our newsletter: new guides, seasonal ideas, the best of the blog, and occasional announcements such as new products, catalogs or community invitations. Some emails may include affiliate links, always disclosed.
- Who stores it: your email is kept by our email service provider, which processes it only on our behalf to send these emails. We never sell, rent or trade your email address.
- How to leave: every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you from the list. You can also write to hello@zalewskahome.com and we will remove you and delete your data.
- Email activity: like most newsletters, our emails may record whether a message was opened or a link was clicked. We use this only in aggregate, to see which topics readers find useful.
Affiliate links
When you click affiliate links, retailers may set their own cookies to attribute the sale. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
Third-party services
We use services such as Google Analytics and an email service provider for our list, and in the future may use advertising networks. These services may collect data as described in their own policies.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (such as comments, messages or your email subscription) by writing to hello@zalewskahome.com.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy as the site evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision.
